Martina Spazzapan

Martina Spazzapan is the current Treasurer of the Italian Medical Society. She is a Core Surgical Trainee in South London and hopes to pursue a career in clinical and academic urology. She was born and grew up outside Trieste, then completed her MBBS and iBSc at King’s College London, having won multiple undergraduate prizes during her studies. She has a keen interest in education; following the award of a Certificate in Teaching and Learning with distinction, awarded by Queen Mary University London, she set up a peer-led society to provide free resources for core training applicants. She obtained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2021 as well as authoring several scientific publications in peer reviewed journals.
