Paolo Fusar Poli is Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Psychiatry at the Outreach and Support in South-London (OASIS) South London and The Maudsley NHS Trust, one of the oldest and largest clinical services for the detection  and prevention of mental disorders in Europe and worldwide.  OASIS offers assessment and care for young people aged 14 to 35, who are seeking help for mental health issues.

Reader in Psychiatry and Youth Mental Health at the Department of Psychosis Studies, Institute of Psychiatry Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London and Associate Professor at the Department of Brain and Behavioral Sciences, University of Pavia. Author of >350 publications in PubMed journals, with an h-index of 84. Highly cited researcher (top 1% by citations for their field and year of publication) from 2015 to date. Invited speaker and/or chairman in several national and international scientific conferences. Psychopharmacology module leader for the MSc Early Interventions in Psychosis. Group Head, “EPIC”, Early Psychosis: Intervention and Clinical-prediction. Member of the Editorial Board and reviewer of several scientific journals. Principal investigator or co-investigator of national and international grants focused on the prevention of mental disorders. He is chair of three national and international clinical research networks.
